What is KYC, and why does Wazir Win ask for it?
KYC stands for Know Your Customer. Wazir Win uses it to confirm that you are 18 or older, that you hold only one ID, and that withdrawals go to an account in your own name.
- Keep under-18s off the platform
- Make sure each person holds one ID
- Pay winnings only to the ID holder
- Stop stolen payment methods and fake accounts
- Protect your balance if someone gets hold of your login
- Meet our legal duties when a lawful request arrives
This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. It covers the website and the WhatsApp service we use to issue and run IDs.
When do you need to complete KYC?
KYC must be complete before your first withdrawal. After that you usually won't be asked again, though some changes or checks can bring it back.
- Your first withdrawal
- Support asks for your documents when you request your first payout. Sending them early means that payout isn't held up.
- New payout details
- If you switch to a different bank account or UPI ID, we may ask you to prove the new one is yours.
- Questions about age
- We can ask for proof of age at any time. If you can't provide it, the ID is closed, as our Terms explain.
- Unusual activity
- If our fraud checks flag an account, a team member reviews it and may ask for more documents before taking any action.
Which documents do we accept?
One government photo ID and proof that the bank account or UPI ID you withdraw to belongs to you. The name must match on all of them.
| Document | What you can send | What it confirms |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | PAN card, passport, driving licence, voter ID, or an Aadhaar card with the first eight digits covered | Your name, photo and date of birth |
| Payout account | A cancelled cheque, the first page of your passbook, or a screenshot of your UPI app showing your registered name | The bank account or UPI ID is in your name |
| Extra checks (only if asked) | A selfie holding your photo ID, or a recent bank statement | The documents belong to the person using the ID |
Cover the first eight digits of your Aadhaar number before you send it. Never send a password, OTP, UPI PIN or card CVV. Support will never ask for them.
How do you send your documents?
Send them in the official Wazir Win WhatsApp chat, from the number linked to your ID. Don't send them anywhere else.
- Open the chat from a WhatsApp link on wazirwin.org
- Send clear photos with all four corners of each document in view
- Check the name matches your ID and payout account
- Wait for support to confirm your ID is verified
WhatsApp chats are end-to-end encrypted. If someone asks for your documents through another number, a social media message or a link outside this site, don't reply. Tell support in the official chat instead.
How are your documents checked?
A team member checks each document by hand. We confirm the photo is clear, you are 18 or older, and the same name appears on your ID, your payout account and your Wazir Win account.
If a photo is blurry or a detail is hard to read, we'll ask for a better image or a different document. Suspicious activity flagged by our checks is also reviewed by a person before we restrict or close anything.
What happens if verification fails?
We tell you why in the chat and what to send instead. Withdrawals stay on hold until your ID is verified.
- Unclear or expired document
- Send a sharper photo or a different valid ID from the list above.
- Name doesn't match
- Payouts only go to an account in the ID holder's name. Give support an account that matches.
- Under 18
- We close the ID. Our services are only for adults.
- Forged or someone else's documents
- This is fraud. Under our Terms we may cancel the bets involved, withhold the winnings from them or ban the ID permanently.
How do we store and protect your documents?
KYC documents are used only to verify your ID. Only the staff who need them can see them, and they are never sold.
We keep them while your ID is active. After it closes, we keep only what we need for disputes, fraud checks and legal duties, then delete it. Our Privacy Policy explains your rights over this data, including how to ask for a copy or a deletion.

Can you appeal a KYC decision?
Yes. Message support on WhatsApp within 30 days of the decision and start with the words "KYC appeal". The team looks at your case again and replies in the same chat.
Tell us which decision you're appealing and why, and attach any documents that help. The appeal is reviewed by a person.
How often is this policy reviewed?
At least once a year, and straight away after any material change in the law or in how we work. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version.
If a change affects which documents we ask for or how we handle them, we'll tell account holders on WhatsApp before it applies.
