Who is responsible for your data?
Wazir Win runs wazirwin.org and issues betting IDs through its official WhatsApp chat. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data covered by this policy.
This policy covers the website and the WhatsApp account service. It doesn't cover third-party sites or apps we link to, which have their own privacy policies.
What personal data do we collect?
We collect what you send us, what your account creates as you use it, and a small amount of technical data when you visit the site.
- What you give us
- Your name and mobile number, your WhatsApp messages to support, deposit screenshots and payment confirmations, KYC details used to verify your ID, and the bank account or UPI ID you withdraw to.
- What your account creates
- Your username, balance, deposits, withdrawals, bet history and any limits, pauses or self-exclusion you ask for.
- What the website records
- Standard request data such as IP address, browser type, device and the pages you open. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We don't ask for your password or OTPs over chat, and you should never share them with anyone.
Why do we use your data, and on what legal basis?
We use your data to run your ID and handle your money. We rely on the consent you give when you message us for an ID, and on the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows.
- Open your ID, check who you are and run your account
- Process deposits and pay withdrawals to an account in your name
- Answer your questions and fix problems on WhatsApp
- Spot and stop fraud, duplicate accounts and misuse
- Keep the website running, secure and working properly
- Meet legal duties and respond to lawful requests
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. If you do, we may no longer be able to run your ID, and we may still keep some records where the law requires it.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep account data while your ID is active. After it closes, we keep only what we need for disputes, fraud checks and legal duties, then delete it.
Payment records may need to be kept for longer than other data because of tax and financial rules. Website request data held by our hosting provider follows that provider's own retention settings.
How do we protect your data?
We keep account data to a small team, use encrypted channels and only share payment details inside your official chat.
- wazirwin.org is served over HTTPS
- WhatsApp chats are end-to-end encrypted
- Only staff who need account data to do their job can see it
- Withdrawals only go to an account in the ID holder's name
No system is completely secure. If a personal data breach happens, we will tell the people affected and the Data Protection Board of India, as the DPDP Act requires.
What rights do you have over your data?
Under the DPDP Act you can see, correct and delete your data, withdraw consent, raise a grievance and nominate someone to act for you.
- Access
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correction and erasure
- Ask us to fix inaccurate data or delete data we no longer need.
- Withdraw consent
- Stop us using your data where we rely on consent.
- Grievance
- Complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if you're not satisfied.
- Nominate
- Name someone to use these rights for you if you die or can't act yourself.
To use any of these rights, message support on WhatsApp from the number linked to your ID. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act.
How do you raise a privacy complaint?
Message support on WhatsApp and start with the words "Privacy grievance". We will reply within the time Indian law allows.
Tell us what happened and what you'd like us to do. If you're not happy with our answer, you can take the complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
Do we collect data from children?
No. Our services are only for adults aged 18 and over, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If you think someone under 18 has given us their data, message support and we will close the account and delete the data.
Will this policy change?
Yes, when our services or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
If a change affects how we use your data, we'll tell account holders on WhatsApp before it applies.
Privacy requests and complaints
